1. Production Lead Time

All products sold by The Oriel Studio are manufactured or prepared to order following confirmation of payment.

Typical production lead times:

  • Pre-designed models: 4–6 weeks

  • Bespoke commissions: 4–8 weeks, depending on specification

Production begins once your order has been accepted and payment has been received.

Lead times are estimates and may vary depending on material availability and manufacturing schedules.


2. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery will be arranged once production is complete.

Delivery timeframes provided at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier or transport providers

  • Weather conditions

  • Supply chain disruption

  • Events beyond our reasonable control


3. Delivery Method

Products may be delivered via:

  • Specialist courier

  • Dedicated transport

  • Direct delivery arranged by The Oriel Studio

Due to the size and nature of architectural glazing products, delivery may require:

  • Ground floor access

  • Clear access routes

  • Assistance for unloading (where specified)

You are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access at the delivery address.


4. Inspection Upon Delivery

You must inspect goods immediately upon delivery.

If goods are:

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect

  • Incomplete

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery, providing photographs and your order number.

Failure to report visible damage within this timeframe may affect your ability to claim.


5. Risk & Responsibility

Risk in the goods passes to you upon successful delivery to the address specified in your order.

You are responsible for:

  • Safe storage after delivery

  • Protection from damage prior to installation


6. Failed Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Customer absence

  • Restricted access

  • Unsafe conditions

  • Incorrect address

Additional delivery charges may apply.

Storage fees may also apply if redelivery is required.


7. International Shipping (If Applicable)

We currently ship within the United Kingdom unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For any agreed international deliveries:

  • Customs duties

  • Import taxes

  • Local charges

are the responsibility of the customer.


8. Installation Services

Where installation is included:

  • Delivery scheduling will be coordinated with installation dates.

  • Site readiness is the customer’s responsibility.

  • Delays caused by site conditions may result in additional charges.
